An arrest warrant was issued Thursday for a Wellman man who was taken into custody by Iowa County earlier this week.
According to the Washington County Communications Center, 49-year-old Steven Michael Davis is wanted on two counts of sex offender registration violation, second or subsequent ofense. A $10,000 cash-only bond has been issued and a detainer was placed with the Iowa County Jail. Davis was taken into custody by Iowa County for allegedly violating his three year-probation sentence for a sex offender registration verification violation.
