MACOMB Western Illinois University students will have new food options to choose from this fall.
The university is looking to replace Burger King, which agreed to part ways after their contract expired. Executive Director of Auxiliary Services and Risk Management Joe Roselieb told The Voice that the split was mutual and that both sides thought it was time for a change.
A survey that went out to students indicates that the three most desirable foods among Western students who participated are Mexican, Italian, and chicken, according to Roselieb. The top three food platforms are Subway, Chipotle, and Chick-fil-A, the last of which already occupies space in the union.
