For the past two days, we've seen some pretty major devices hit the market, and today you can add another one to the list. Honor's 'Beyond Magic' event took place this morning, where the company took the wraps off of the Honor Magic 3 series. The company has been teasing these devices for a few weeks now, including the Magic 3 being semi-shown off (it was in a pre-production case) at an event by CEO George Zhao. The Honor Magic 3 is a pretty big deal as it's the company's first foray into the flagship Android space since it broke out from under Huawei's wings. The series is comprised of three devices in the Magic 3, Magic 3 Pro, and Magic 3 Pro+, all of which offer something a little bit different. Direkt auf den ersten Blick macht das Xiaomi Poco F3 mit seinem großen Display Eindruck. Es erstreckt sich nahezu über die gesamte Vorderseite und verzichtet, bis auf eine kleine Aussparung für die Innenkamera, auch auf eine störende Notch. Auf seinen 6,7 Zoll stellt es Inhalte in einer Auflösung von 2.400 x 1.080 Pixeln dar, was in einer hohen Pixeldichte von 393 ppi resultiert.
Doch Apps und Co. werden nicht nur sehr scharf, sondern vor allem sehr flüssig präsentiert. Dank einer Bildwiederholungsrate von 120 Hertz wandern Inhalte deutlich geschmeidiger über das Display als bei Geräten mit dem 60-Hertz-Standard, wie etwa den iPhones. Der 120-Hz-Modus sorgt aber auch für eine leicht kürzere Akkulaufzeit. Sie können den Modus in den Einstellungen deaktivieren, wirklich notwendig ist das aber selten.
