To the Editor;
Many of us will be receiving a check for $600, and there’s still the possibility of the greater check thus totaling the $2000 proposed. Some desperately need that income because of jobs impacted or lost, other costs that have been a result of the pandemic, or to support dependents.
I am in the group that does not need this extra income and many who read this may be as well. While any spending of it in local economy certainly benefits someone, I hope that those of us without acute need will consider passing along this bonus in healthy ways to nonprofits or other worthwhile individuals and concerns.
