Spencer, IA (KICD) Four people have been charged following three separate incidents in Spencer over the weekend.
Police Chief Mark Warburton tells KICD News the first stop was initiated on Friday in the 10th block of West 10th Street, which resulted in 48-year-old Michelle Snyder being taken into custody for allegedly possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and for failing to affix a drug tax stamp.
The second arrest stemmed from a Saturday stop a few blocks away from the original scene, which ultimately led to 51-year-old Stephen Bryant of Rock Valley being arrested for violating his parole along with possessing a firearm as a felon, 4th-degree theft, possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of prescription drugs.

Spencer, IA (KICD)– A Rock Valley man is in custody facing a number of drug and theft related charges following a weekend traffic stop in Spencer.
Police Chief Mark Warburton tells KICD News the stop was initiated on Saturday in the 300 block of West 8th Street and ultimately led to 51-year-old Stephen Bryant being taken into custody on a warrant for violating his parole.
A search of the vehicle later reportedly yielded multiple controlled substances and a firearm that is believed to have been stolen from Fort Dodge.
