Klay Thompson is the next Charles Barkley. Or the NBA equivalent of Tony Romo. Basically, whatever he wants to be in the media after he retires, that s what Klay can be. Thompson proved that on Friday night when he worked as an analyst / reporter on the NBC Sport Bay Area broadcast of Warriors - Pistons. Wooo!

While the game was a dud because the Warriors destroyed the Pistons, Thompson showed great poise and personality on live television. Thompson, who hasn t played in a NBA game since June 2019 because of injuries showed that he has everything his father has and more. I mean, he did take film production in college.
The Rams Never Have First-Round Picks, So What?

The Los Angeles Rams traded Jared Goff and some picks for Matthew Stafford. They now have no first-round picks until 2024. That sounds crazy, but what if it doesn t matter?
The Rams are in a good, competitive division that has sent three different teams to the Super Bowl in the last decade. If they don t care about dead money and the salary cap, well, that s a good thing. The Rams haven t had a first-round pick since 2016 when they selected Goff. It seems universally accepted that Matthew Stafford is a superior quarterback to Jared Goff. Now they have Stafford on a reasonable contract for the next two seasons, while he s still in his early thirties. Combined with Goff s dead salary, that s basically what the Steelers are going to pay Ben Roethlisberger.

Deshaun Watson told the Houston Texans that he wanted to be traded. In the weeks since he made this known to the organization, they have hired the oldest first-time head coach in NFL history and. that s about it. Nothing has happened to change Watson s mind about leaving Houston. With the offseason about to start, the Texans should probably look into that.
We have previously named the Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Carolina Panthers as teams that both could and should attempt to acquire the NFL s leading passer. Watson would be a huge upgrade for any of those franchises, but the truth is, they aren t alone. In fact, there are at least 15
Bob Ryan Tweets Unwavering Hall of Fame Support for Curt Schilling and Steve Carlton

Curt Schilling is so mad he wasn t voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame that he asked to be taken off next year s ballot. That was on Tuesday. On Thursday, after most people had moved on, Bob Ryan logged on to Twitter to let Schilling know that he voted for him and to make his point, he explained that he also voted for Steve Carlton. Why Steve Carlton? Because in 1994 there was a feature about Carlton in Philadelphia Magazine where he was quoted saying a lot of wild conspiracy theory stuff that had some people wanting him left out of the Hall.
