Vietnam s expat community has been reassured they will not be left behind when it comes to COVID-19 vaccinations.

The country’s foreign ministry insists when more inoculations arrive, the vaccination programme will be extended to include the thousands of foreigners who call Vietnam home.
Speaking exclusively to VN News about the issue, Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang said there is no discrimination over nationalities.

Việt Nam News about the issue, Ministry for Foreign Affairs spokesperson Lê Thị Thu Hằng said there is no discrimination over nationalities. And as the country seeks to accomplish herd immunity by April 2022, she reiterated the importance of including foreigners in the vaccination drive.

DANBURY Danbury firefighters and police officers responded to a kitchen fire on Cottage Street Monday evening that remains under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s office, according to officials.
Danbury Family Displaced Following Cottage Street Fire
A local family has been forced to temporarily stay with some family members in the wake of a residential fire that broke out on Monday evening (February 15).
According to the Danbury Fire Department, local 911 dispatch received a call just before 6:00 PM on Monday evening, reporting the aforementioned blaze at a two-family home located at 9 Cottage Street, which runs adjacent to the downtown Danbury area.
While firefighters were en route, Danbury Police Officer Stephan Cameron, who happened to be on patrol in the area, arrived at the scene first. Upon initial inspection, Officer Cameron reportedly observed heavy smoke billowing from the two-family home and was able to assist all of home s occupants. He also noticed that the working fire was located in the kitchen of one of the units.
