Windmills brewery is now open in The Colony’s Grandscape

If you’ve driven past the sprawling, ever-growing Grandscape development in The Colony in recent months, you’ve certainly noticed the striking piece of architecture set just in front of the massive Scheels Sporting Goods store. That eye-catching building is home to Windmills, the newest craft brewery in North Texas, and it finally opened its doors at the end of January.
It always starts to feel like spring in Dallas when the North Texas Irish Festival rolls around. It’s generally the first in a series of fun festivals, but this year is going to be different. With Texas businesses opened up, we could start to see more festivals scheduled in the future, but the beloved Irish festival will happen virtually on March 6.
There’s a loaded schedule of five free livestreams of music and dance plus a paid virtual event streamed from Ireland. All can be found at the festival s website. North Texas brewery offering $1 beers to GameStop employees

While employees at GameStop stores across the country haven t seen much of an impact from the surging stock prices, Hop & Sting Brewery is giving them a deal in the midst of all the craziness.
GameStop, whose headquarters is located about three miles away from the brewery, is in the midst of a historic week involving the stock market as trading volume has surged in shares of the video game company and other companies, like AMC and Bed Bath & Beyond, in an attempt to make Wall Street firms betting that those stocks would fall lose money.
