UAE weather: Clear day in Dubai, cloudy across rest of UAE and fog in Abu Dhabi

UAE residents can expect pleasant weather across the Emirates today. However, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued yellow and red alerts, warning UAE drivers about poor visibility on the roads. “Fog formation with deterioration of horizontal visibility over some internal western areas until 9:00 am,” said NCM in today’s weather forecast. Also, the NCM has said that the weather in general across the country will be clear to partly cloudy at times. The maximum temperature in the country is expected to be between 23- 27°C, and the lowest temperature is expected to be between 09-13°C. In the coastal areas, temperature highs will be between 21-25°C, and 14-18°C in the mountainous regions.

Man falls to death from second floor of villa in Sharjah

The Bangladeshi worker, identified as R.A.L.H, died in the ICU of Al Qassimi Hospital, they said. The man had suffered internal bleeding in the brain, besides fractures in the skull and other parts of the body. The incident happened when AC work was being carried out in the villa, the owner of the company told Gulf News. The victim was checking the second floor of the villa when he fell down under the staircase. The victim was on visit visa, said the owner who reported the incident. A team from the Criminal and Investigation Department (CID) was dispatched to the villa.

Sharjah Municipality launches 17 digital services

Sharjah: Sharjah City Municipality launched 17 digital services under the customer service sector and the agriculture and environment sector as part of the second phase of the “Sabeq” digital transformation project. The initiatives are based on the visions and directives of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah. The second phase of the project will witness the launch of 196 digital services.
