Students at St Brendanâs College in Yeppoon will benefit from the construction of a new science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) hub after the school received a $3.7 million grant from the Australian Government.
The project was funded through the Capital Grants Program, which provides funding for non-government schools to improve their infrastructure.
Federal Member for Capricornia Michelle Landry said students and staff at St Brendanâs College would benefit from the construction of new science rooms, wet laboratories, breakout areas, exhibition hall and the conversion of existing spaces into more modern facilities.
âStudents and teachers thrive when their schools have modern, functional facilities like these supporting educational outcomes,â Ms Landry said.
