A new 69-home development is planned for lands beside St Oliver s National School on the Ballymakenny Road as part of the overall development of the North Drogheda Environs Area. It is envisaged that up to 20,000 people will be moving into the area as new housing developments are progressed.
The 69 homes will include 49 terraced and end of terrace houses and 20 duplex units. The proposed houses are 2 to 3 storeys in heights while the duplex building are 3 storeys in height.
The homes will be 2, 3 and 4-bedrooms. The plan is by Propchain Solutions Ltd.
A decision is expected on the application by February 2021.
The proposal includes the provision of car parking and bicycles parking, public and communal open space with associated landscaping, boundary treatments, all associated internal access roads, footpaths and cycles facilities, bin stores, foul and surface water drainage, lighting and all associated and ancillary site works.
