Youngsters have made bird feeders to launch their school s new wellbeing and community club.
Pupils at St Anne’s Church Academy have enjoyed their first wellbeing and community after school club.
Along with making bird feeders, they searched for lots of natural items in different shades of green and sat and listened to the different sounds around.
St Anne’s and others schools in the The Priory Learning Trust, of which St Anne s is a part of, regularly use outside lessons and have a thriving forest school as part of its curriculum.

Gracie cooked pancakes for eight people.

A primary school pupil made the perfect pancakes as part of a maths challenge.
St Anne’s Church Academy year four pupil Gracie went the extra mile as part of a maths lesson by making tasty pancakes.
The primary school, which has sites in Hewish and West Wick, had been teaching about scaling to key worker children and those learning at home.
Gracie took her scaling learning to the next level by scaling up her own pancake recipe.
She took a recipe for two people, and scaled it up to make pancakes for eight people.

A primary school has appointed a new permanent principal.
Emma Hardy-Smith is the new principal of St Anne’s Church Academy.
The former Priory Community School Academy student previously helped make Pawlett Primary School near Bridgwater into a successful primary school.
Emma has been acting principal for the previous 10 months at St Anne’s and now has the role on a permanent basis.
St Anne’s has enjoyed some of the best SATs results in the country in recent years and nurtures pupils across its two sites at Hewish and West Wick.
