Courtesy-RTVFD FB page SEYMOUR, Ind. – While responding to an accident on I-65 late Wednesday afternoon, the Redding Township Volunteer Fire Department (RTVFD), in Seymour, had one of its engines slide off of the interstate while traveling in extremely bad road conditions from the snow and ice. No one was seriously hurt but two firefighters were in the truck at the time of the accident and sustained minor injuries. They were treated at Schneck Medical Center. RTVFD officials remind you to please drive safely when road conditions are bad and to move over as much as possible to allow emergency vehicles around you.
