Gateway House, new vaccine centre A NEW vaccination centre is due to open today (Wednesday) at the former Computershare building Gateway House in Skipton. The building on Gargrave Road, originally built for Homeloan Management (HML) and largely empty since last year, will be used by several different GP practices. A spokesperson for NHS Bradford District and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) said: “The Covid-19 vaccination service currently based at Skipton Hospital will move to Gateway House, Gargrave Road, Skipton on Wednesday March 3. It will be used by eight GP practices in the Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven area. The larger site provides ample parking and volunteers will be available to help people get to their appointment. All patients with an appointment will be contacted by their GP practice to let them know about the new location.

ONE of Bradford’s most prominent buildings has been turned into a rapid Covid-19 testing site. St George’s Hall, in the heart of the city centre, is being used for the new testing programme, along with Airedale Shopping Centre in Keighley.
