Seven Highway 97 bridges in Klamath Falls to get $32 million in seismic upgrades ODOT KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (KTVZ) – Seven Highway 97 bridges in the Klamath Falls area will be the focus of a $32 million seismic retrofitting project that will begin this year and continue for the next four years, the Oregon Department of Transportation said Tuesday. It’s all part of a seismic resiliency plan spearheaded by the State of Oregon and funded by the federal government. The bridges are all located on U.S. Highway 97, which is a primary north-south highway and “lifeline route” in the event of a major earthquake.

Missing Essex County Juveniles Found Safe UPDATE: The Essex County Sheriff’s Office said they found 14 year old Olivia Wachsmuth and 12 year old Emma Wachsmuth on Monday, safe and unharmed. The FBI, neighboring law enforcement agencies and the community helped with the search. Officals say the incident is still under investigation. If you have any information about this case, you should contact the Essex County Sheriff’s Office.   Orignial Story: The Essex Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking the whereabouts of Olivia Wachsmuth 14 year old white female 5’5 approx 165 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. She is accompanied by Emma Wachsmuth 12 year old white female 5’6 125lbs with sandy hair and blue eyes. The two left their home in the Scotts Mill Rd. area of Tappahannock at approx. 130 am on 3-7-2021 wearing only shorts and a hoodie. The two are possibly endangered.   Both children have been entered as missing.
