The Springfield district recently launched a search for the next principal of Parkview, its third-largest high school.
The departure of Eric Ramsey following 11 years at the helm marks the complete turnover of all Springfield high school principals in a three-year period.
Ramsey s direct supervisor, Ron Woodard, sent a note to parents May 27, the final day of classes, noting the exit of the longtime principal. I wanted to let you know that the role of principal of Parkview High School will transition at the conclusion of the current school year and a new principal will be named for the 2021-2022 school year, Woodard wrote. We thank Dr. Eric Ramsey for his service to Parkview over the past 11 years and wish him well with his plans for the future.
