This flyby by Dale Snodgrass was captured in 1988 by Naval photographer Sean E. Dunn from the flight deck of the USS America aircraft carrier. Considered one of the most famous aviation photos of all time, it shows Snodgrassâs F-14 with its wings vertical, seemingly far too close to the ship and the crew members seen in the foreground.

Kelly said the National Hurricane Center’s forecast shows that the low pressure system has a 50% chance of developing into a tropical depression.
“However, its time for development is short,” Kelly said. “If it develops into a tropical depression, it needs to do it either tonight or through tomorrow morning,”
Kelly said that if the weather system doesn’t develop into a depression before it gets to land, it will be a “non-event” of rain and thunderstorms.
“As it is, it doesn’t pass the eye test for a tropical cyclone,” Kelly said.
Sunday’s overcast skies and breezy north winds in the Daytona Beach area are attributed to the low pressure system and conditions are not expected to change on Monday, Kelly said.
