Scott Credit Union Board Chairman announces retirement
EDWARDSVILLE, IL (May 25, 2021) After serving as a volunteer member of Scott Credit Union’s board of directors for more than 40 years, CMSgt. William “Pete” Hostetter (Ret.) has announced his retirement from the position of Board Chairman.
One of the ways credit unions differ from other financial institutions is by their governance through a volunteer board of directors. Credit union boards are comprised of volunteers who are members of the credit union themselves. Serving without pay, the directors provide strategic direction that prioritizes the financial well-being of the credit union members before profit.
A former service member of the U.S. Air Force, Hostetter joined the Scott Credit Union board of directors in 1981. At that time, SCU’s field of membership was limited to those affiliated with Scott Air Force Base and SCU employees. During Hostetter’s tenure, the credit union grew from having approximately $33

The Godfrey native was formerly the marketing associate, then development coordinator, for the organization nearly five years ago. During her time away, she earned a certificate in Nonprofit Administration and Program Development and professionally grew through positions at Scott Credit Union and Hospice of Southern Illinois.

Team Announces May Promo Schedule Featuring Giveaways For All 12 Games at Busch
ST. LOUIS, Mo., April 14, 2021 – The St. Louis Cardinals have announced that single-game tickets for May home games will go on sale to the general public this Friday, April 16, at 2:00 PM CT. Tickets will be sold for all 12 May home games, featuring series against the New York Mets (May 3-6), Colorado Rockies (May 7-9), Pittsburgh Pirates (May 18-19), and Chicago Cubs (May 21-23).
Capacity at Busch Stadium will remain at 32% for all May home games. Tickets can be purchased online at cardinals.com and via phone at 314-345-9000. May game tickets will be available for purchase at the Busch Stadium ticket windows beginning on Monday, April 19.
