Katelyn N. Chestnut, daughter of Chris and Sis Chestnut of Hanoverton, and Jonathon T. Meissner, son of Patricia Farrow of Minerva, are announcing their engagement.
The prospective bride is a 2011 graduate of United High School. She graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2015 with a degree in applied health science and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 2020. She is currently employed at Piedmont Behavioral Services in Virginia as a physician assistant.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2010 graduate of Salem High School. He graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2017 with a degree in construction management. He is currently employed as a project manager for Baker D.C. in Washington D.C.
Honestly, I personally love me some highway sign fun. Driving by overhead highway signs or breakdown lane highway signs that just blandly say Click It or Ticket or You Drink, You Drive, You Lose are good messages, sure, but it quickly becomes just background noise that you don t even pay attention to, right?
Plus, who ever said that safety couldn t be fun? It reminds me of my sophomore year in high school (what up Salem High, go Blue Devils!) - some people could consider chemistry boring because you have to memorize the periodic table and do some math equations and follow all these safety precautions so you don t accidentally hydrochloric acid your hand right off.

As I said then, I won the trip, along with three other South Dakota high school students, in an essay contest sponsored by the Sioux Falls Argus Leader. The topic was âWhat was the most interesting inauguration in American history?â I wrote about the middle-of-the-night swearing in of Calvin Coolidge. My effort eventually resulted in a personal letter from Grace Coolidge, his wife, that corrected some of my observations in preparing the piece.
