Havana, Dec 17 (Prensa Latina) Eusebio Leal not only took care of the restoration of Havana s Historic Center, but also of its souls, he gave life to each stone, orchestra conductor Zenaida Romeu said on Thursday.
Romeu paid tribute to the late historian of Havana during a gala offered on Thursday by the Cuban people at the Salon de los Pasos Perdidos (Hall of the Lost Steps) of the National Capitol.
After dedicating a few intimate words in front of the prominent researcher s ashes, Romeu highlighted on a press briefing his work to rescue every stone in Old Havana, and the value he gave to music as the soul of those buildings.
