£50m plans to overhaul Sale West estate to be decided on

PLANS to give Sale West in Trafford a massive makeover – costing at least £50 million – are set to be decided on next week. Trafford Council’s planning committee will discuss proposals from developers Seddon Homes and housing association Irwell Valley Homes, which are part of one of the biggest estate regenerations seen across Greater Manchester for more than ten years. Irwell Valley Homes manages more than 1000 homes on the estate. A total of 79 brand new affordable homes are also part of the scheme. Planning permission for these, set to cost £11 million, was granted by the council in June 2020. The homes marked the first phase of the housing association’s planned redevelopment of the estate and were due to be completed this year.

It’s unique and that uniqueness comes from its values and the Christie teams who dedicate every day to making a patient’s cancer a bit more bearable.” Nicola began her treatment at the Christie in February 2019, and over a seven-month period underwent chemotherapy and targeted therapy, followed by surgery and further radiotherapy.
