Facing a severe financial crunch due to the
covid situation,

new concept where philanthropists and animal lovers can contribute to the daily feeding cost. The park has 2,388 animals belonging to 102 species.
An official said, “We are earning revenue of less than a crore per month which is not enough to pay salaries as well as feed the animals. We have opened the adoption drive, but we need many more to take it up to sustain. Many may claim that it is expensive. Hence, we are introducing the daily feeding option where even small timers can join us in the initiative.”
