SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The Summer lineup for Sioux City s Downtown Live concert series has been announced.
Organizers say it will consist of seven concerts throughout the summer. They get underway on June 18 with the Rex Granite Band.
Organizers say they re excited to hold the concerts after the cancellations in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are absolutely excited that we are back, last year really to be, point-blank, stunk because there was nothing going on in downtown Sioux City all summer long, and we really, really missed it, said Brent Stockton, a member of the planning committee for Downtown Live. I might have missed it more than anyone. But anyway, we are thrilled to be back, and we got a great lineup for you.

The late Dr. Herbert Kuehne joined Briar Cliff in 1973 and taught until 2001. Sioux City Museum hosts special exhibit from 4th grade students

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The Sioux City Public Museum has its latest exhibit on display and they re not your typical museum exhibits.
The 30th annual Sioux City History Projects exhibit is made up of models and posters from local 4th-grade students from their time studying Sioux City History.
Staff of the museum visited with students from 13 different schools and the exhibits from the museum were chosen out of over 700.
Leaders with the museum say the exhibit reflects on Sioux City s history and tells the stories of people, events and landmarks.
