FARGO Cass County health officials will soon be switching gears when it comes to giving out COVID-19 vaccines.
Starting Tuesday, June 1, walk-in clinics will only be on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. inside the Fargo Cass Public Health building, 1240 25th St S.
On Monday, June 7, FCPH s immunization program will start taking vaccine appointments every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, with nurses distributing them from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
(Fargo, ND) Fargo Cass Public Health is announcing two adjustments to its COVID-19 vaccine operation, both of which will take effect in June:
Beginning Tuesday, June 1st, FCPH will conduct walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinics on Tuesdays only from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. While these are walk-in clinics, appointments are encouraged to streamline the registration process.
Beginning Monday, June 7th, the FCPH Immunization Program will take appointments for COVID-19 vaccine during its regularly scheduled clinic hours. Hours of operation for the immunization program are 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Monday and 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. Appointments can be made by calling (701) 241-1383.
(Fargo, ND) Cass County residents who are homebound and therefore unable to obtain COVID-19 vaccine through their provider, a pharmacy, or other vaccine clinic are encouraged to contact Fargo Cass Public Health to inquire about access to vaccine through one of the FCPH mobile missions.
“We know there are members of our community who, for a variety of reasons, are not able to leave their home to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, says Suzanne Schaefer, FCPH Director of Nursing. Our mobile vaccine mission may be a good fit for those individuals, so we’re inviting them to contact us to explore that option.”
Walk-ins remain welcome, but appointments preferred 6:49 pm, Apr. 19, 2021 ×
FARGO Beginning the week of April 26, Fargo Cass Public Health will administer the COVID-19 vaccine from its main location at 1240 25th St. S., in Fargo.
Walk-ins will continue to be welcome during scheduled vaccine clinic hours, but appointments remain preferred in order to streamline the registration process. We have appreciated the generosity and partnership of Sanford Health, in inviting us to locate our vaccine operation out of the shared COVID-19 Vaccination Center, said Suzanne Schaefer, the health agency s director of nursing.
She said the shared vaccination center in the former Gordmans building in south Fargo has provided a convenient and familiar location for the community to access the vaccine.

From a scheduling and planning perspective, the timing is right for us to transition our vaccine operation to our main building. This will allow us to begin the process of integrating COVID-19 vaccine administration into the other services we provide to the community.”
