Nicholas Villeneuve was acquitted Monday in provincial court of all eight charges he was facing. The decision came after the Crown attorney called no evidence in the trial against him. Amanda Hiscock told Judge Mark Linehan that given the exclusion of several pieces of evidence, she had no reasonable chance of securing a conviction.
