During a virtual summit organised by the Nobel Foundation and major science academies this week, Kerry said building greater public understanding and agreement on the world s existential challenges was crucial to addressing them. We have to establish a baseline of truth or we canât build consensus in a democracy, he said.

FM calls for enhancing ties with Germany to combat pandemic
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has underlined the importance of regular high-level exchanges between Pakistan and Germany and maintaining a steady upward trajectory in the relationship.
He made the remarks during a meeting with German counterpart Heiko Maas at the foreign office in Islamabad today (Thursday).
Foreign Minister Qureshi stressed the need for enhancing mutual cooperation and collaboration to combat the pandemic in a holistic manner. He thanked the German side for its efforts to ensure earliest possible provision of vaccine through the COVAX initiative.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 28 (ANI): Just two days ahead of the third phase of the COVID-19 vaccination drive, Mumbai s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) jumbo COVID-19 vaccination center has run out of vaccine stock. The vaccination center is inactive.
Boards reading Vaccine out of stock were put up outside the BKC center on Wednesday. It will open for vaccination as soon as the stock is replenished, Bombay Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.
However, despite it being out of stock, people gathered in huge numbers outside the center.
The vaccination drive at the vaccination center was earlier halted for the same reason on April 20.

Stating that retail businesses are the worst hit, the industry body said that the sector is finding it hard to survive through the immense financial stress and it is imperative that the Government steps in with requisite support.
