Zita Smith is not one to do things by halves.
In fact, as her 70th birthday loomed, she set her sights high on Buckingham Palace no less. Unfortunately, Covid scuttled her plans, but with the help of her niece Ria Anderson, Zita still managed to celebrate in style.

Cañon City Music and Blossom Festival is back
CAÑON CITY, Colo. (KRDO) - The Music and Blossom Festival is back in town this year, after it was canceled last year because of the pandemic.
The annual festival s parade was a hit Saturday, with hundreds of residents and visitors lining Main street to see school bands, law enforcement, and other local organizations. The fresh air is great. We’ve been doing this for seventeen years, the only one we missed was last year, Melynda Kroll told KRDO. Military, police, we support them all.
