Heading in to the last weekend of the NFL season, 13 of the 16 games on the Sunday docket have playoff implications.
The NFC East, in particular, will see daylong drama starting with Dallas (6-9) playing at the NY Giants (5-10) in the early time slot and with a 50 percent chance of rain throughout.
As Cowboys fans are well aware, the winner of that game will remain alive for division laurels and then root, root, root for the home team when the Eagles face Washington’s Football Team (6-9) in Philly that night. A Philadelphia win would give the NYG-Dallas winner the crown. Washington takes it with a win.

In one game, Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard garnered praise for his standout performance against the San Francisco 49ers and put a spotlight on Ezekiel Elliott s lackluster 2020 season.
Pollard racked up 132 scrimmage yards on the 49ers fifth-ranked defense, which also lists seventh against the run. Behind an offensive line without All-Pros Tyron Smith (neck) and Zack Martin (calf), the second-year running back recorded 69 yards and two touchdowns on the ground as Elliott sat out with a calf injury.
Aside from his 103-yard rushing performance against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11, Elliott has struggled since quarterback Dak Prescott went down with a dislocated ankle in early October. In fact, the Cowboys lead ball-carrier hasn t scored a rushing touchdown since Week 5.
With Hurts almost certainly locked in as the starter the rest of the season, that s the Eagles new identity on offense is (or at least it should be), and it matches up well against the Cowboys defense.
In the Week 8 Eagles-Cowboys matchup, the Eagles were able to run the ball effectively, even without Miles Sanders, who was out with a knee injury. Boston Scott carried 15 times for 70 yards (4.7 YPC), and Corey Clement carried 5 times for 24 yards (4.8 YPC). The Eagles should be able to do damage on the ground, as long as Doug Pederson makes it a priority.
