Portneuf security receives international recognition
POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - The International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) awarded Portneuf Medical Center’s security team, managed by HSS, with the Program of Distinction.

IAHSS recognizes outstanding qualifying healthcare security and safety departments with the Program of Distinction.
There have been only 43 international programs of distinction since 2007. HSS has security teams in hospitals across the nation and Portneuf Medical Center is the first HSS security program to receive this honor. William Roland (Bill) Sorenson (90 years old) our beloved father, grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away peacefully with family by his side on April 10, 2021.
Bill was born on January 27, 1931, in Midvale, Utah, to Ben and Alice Sorenson and was oldest of three boys. When Bill was 10 years old the family moved to Kellogg, Idaho, where he graduated from Kellogg High School. Bill went on to graduate from the University of Idaho, where he earned a business degree and was a member of the SAE Fraternity.
Bill married Arlene Jaeger on July 24, 1954, in Kellogg, Idaho. For 62 years, he and Arlene shared a love of family, friends, golf, cards and travel, spending countless hours laughing, dancing and enjoying life. Bill enjoyed countless hours on the golf course with friends and family. He had a special relationship with Arleneâs sistersâ husbands, whom were some of his best friends.
Everett
K. Joseph âJoeâ Triplett, 89, of Upper Snake Spring Road, Everett, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021, at Homewood at Martinsburg.
He was born on Feb. 24, 1932, in Bedford, a son of the late Harper B. and Orpha L. (Wareham) Triplett. On June 28, 1953, he was united in marriage to Janet A. (Grimes) Triplett.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Kenneth A. Triplett, in 1932.
Joe is survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Richard, Robert, James, Greg, who was looked at as a brother, Betty, Charlotte, Nancy, Beverly and Janie.
He was a member of the Everett Church of the Brethren and attended the Snake Spring Valley Church of the Brethren.
