Two Arrested After Shooting Up Shreveport Residence
Two men have been taken in to custody in connection with firing numerous gunshots at a residence. On March 15, 2021, just before 10:00 p.m., Shreveport Police responded to Sugarleaf Trail to investigate a shots fired call. Officers located a residence that had been struck numerous times by gunfire. People were home at the residence, however, no one at the residence was hit. Not long afterwards, Shreveport Police received a second report of a shooting just a block away, involving two adult male victims who were brought to Shreveport Fire Station #9 on Vincent. Both males were taken to Ochsner LSU Health. One of their injuries was considered non-life-threatening and the other was considered possibly life-threatening.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Shreveport police have made two arrests in connection to the shooting death of Travante Myles, 28, on Jan. 25, in the 4900 block of Mansfield Road.
Jalen Jack, 23, was arrested on one count of accessories after the fact to second degree murder, one count of failure to report a felony, one count of possession of a stolen firearm and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He also faces an aggravated battery charge that is unrelated to this case.
Three Suspects Arrested In Lindholm Street Homicide In Shreveport
A suspect was arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that left one man dead and another injured.
Back during the evening of January 19, Shreveport Police responded to the 3000 block of Lindholm Street relative to a shooting. Officers located two adult males suffering from gunshot injuries. The victims, identified as Nicholas Toms and Jacob Decamp, were transported to Ochsner LSU Medical Health. Decamp is in stable condition and Toms later died from his injuries.
Violent Crimes and Crime Scene Investigators responded to this location and began their investigation.
The preliminary investigation suggested that the shooting occurred following a fight over a “gun deal”.
