Caddo Grand Jury returns true bills

SHREVEPORT, La- The Caddo Parish Grand Jury returned several true bills on Friday. Devontey Bouya, 24, of Shreveport, is charged with second-degree murder in connection with the February 11, 2021 slaying of Treyshun Bogan. Bogan, 24, was shot following an altercation on Merwin Street, in the Claiborne neighborhood. Dontreal Damon Quacye York, 19, of Haughton and Tre’Marcus Tyree McKenney, 20, of Shreveport, are charged with the January 23, 2021 death of Nicholas Toms, 23, who was shot four days earlier in the Werner Park neighborhood. They also are charged with attempted second-degree murder in connection with an assault on Jacob Decamp. Shadonald McKenney, 22, is charged as an accessory after-the-fact to second-degree murder in connection with the criminal acts alleged against Dontreal York and Tre Marcus McKenney, above.

Three Suspects Arrested In Lindholm Street Homicide In Shreveport A suspect was arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that left one man dead and another injured. Back during the evening of January 19, Shreveport Police responded to the 3000 block of Lindholm Street relative to a shooting. Officers located two adult males suffering from gunshot injuries. The victims, identified as Nicholas Toms and Jacob Decamp, were transported to Ochsner LSU Medical Health. Decamp is in stable condition and Toms later died from his injuries. Violent Crimes and Crime Scene Investigators responded to this location and began their investigation. The preliminary investigation suggested that the shooting occurred following a fight over a “gun deal”.
