(Source: Smith County Sheriff s Office) By Gary Bass | March 9, 2021 at 10:19 AM CST - Updated March 9 at 5:29 PM TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A Smith County grand jury has indicted a Lindale man in connection with allegations that he hit and killed two people with his pickup on Dec. 9, 2020. When the grand jury met in the 241st Judicial District Court on Feb. 4, they indicted David Joshua Green, 40, on capital murder of multiple people charge. He is still being held in the Smith County Jail, and his bond amount has been set at $1.3 million.

Author: Reagan Roy Updated: 7:44 PM CST December 14, 2020 SMITH COUNTY, Texas Officials say a man admitted to intentionally ramming a trailer with his vehicle killing his ex-girlfriend and another man last week in Smith County. According to the Smith County Sheriff s Office, David Joshua Reed, 40, of Lindale, admitted to intentionally ramming his truck into a trailer home occupied by the two victims, a man and a woman. Reed has been charged with capital murder with a bond of $1,000,000.
