Multiple agencies search for missing man for hours, finally find body near La Crescent

LA CRESCENT, Minn. (WKBT) The body of a 47-year-old man who had been reported missing Monday night was found at about 2 p.m. Tuesday near La Crescent, according to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.
Jason Moore’s family members contacted the sheriff’s office shortly after 11 p.m., saying they believed he had gone mushroom hunting but had not returned home, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies and La Crescent police officers went to the area on Chicken Ridge Road near La Crescent where Moore was believed to be searching for morels. They found his vehicle alongside the road and summoned other law enforcement jurisdictions for help looking for him.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Officials say they have recovered the body of a missing kayaker after a day-long recovery effort on the Chattahoochee River.
Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services were alerted to the recovery mission of a missing kayaker around 1:23 p.m. when Forsyth County’s swiftwater team, which was out searching, contacted them to say the kayaker might be in their area.
