HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) - Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a teacher from Strawberry Crest High School in Dover following an undercover investigation targeting individuals soliciting sex from minors.
On March 29, 2021, an HCSO undercover detective portraying a 14-year-old male on social media came in contact with Anthony Michael Peace, 37, after Peace initiated a conversation.
Peace works as a history teacher and is a former wrestling coach at Strawberry Crest High. Deputies say Peace solicited nude photos from the decoy teenager and sent explicit videos of himself.

Rachel Craddock told FOX Tampa Bay that she was working on Sunday afternoon when a man accused of beating and forcing a woman inside a vehicle stopped at the Citgo gas station in Inverness, located 76 miles north of Tampa. The man, identified by the Hillsborough County Sheriff s Office as Cody Jackson, struck the woman inside a home in Seffner with a piece of wood to the head.

Convicted felon shoots 2 at Tampa barbershop, deputies say

TAMPA, Fla. - Avondre Victor, 27, is accused of shooting two people at the Fade Station barbershop Saturday afternoon, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say Victor pulled out a gun and shot two people as they ran to the door during a verbal altercation inside the barbershop.
Both victims suffered gunshot wounds but were able to run next door to the Sunshine Animal Hospital, where staff rendered first aid until they were taken to an area hospital.
Deputies say following the shooting, Victor fled from the barbershop in his 2004 green Ford Explorer and headed east on W. Waters Avenue. According to HCSO, Victor later crashed his vehicle into a sign near the Amscot located at 7250 W Waters Avenue.
