Sir Richard Sutton: Man suspected of killing one of UK s richest men stopped by armed police after 100-mile drive
Armed officers forcibly stopped the car of a man suspected of killing one of Britain s richest men, an eyewitness has told Sky News.
The 34-year-old was arrested in west London - more than 100 miles from where millionaire hotelier Sir Richard Sutton was stabbed to death at his home in Dorset.
A vehicle believed to be linked to the incident was located following fast-time enquiries , and six police forces were involved in tracking its journey.

COPS are today probing whether a murder suspect had a breakdown after visiting his dad’s grave before he was arrested 100 miles from where one of Britain’s richest men was stabbed to death.
Sir Richard Lexington Sutton, worth £300million, was fatally attacked while his wife Anne Schreiber, 65, also suffered knife wounds and was left in a “critical” condition in hospital.

One of Britain’s wealthiest men, hotel mogul Sir Richard Sutton is dead after an attack inside his Dorset home.
Sir Richard Sutton and an as-yet unnamed female companion were attacked at Sutton’s home in Dorset. Sutton was declared dead at the scene, while the woman, thought to be his wife, was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol. She remains in critical condition. Metro police said they arrested a 34-year-old suspect in the murder in Hammersmith after stopping his vehicle. Authorities believe the man and Sutton were acquainted prior to the attack.

Travellers who want to visit countries on the safe green list will still be expected to pay for gold standard PCR tests on their return to the UK at a cost of around £120 each.
Even people who have been fully vaccinated will be required to take the tests. Holidaymakers arriving from these countries will not have to quarantine under the new traffic light system that is expected to replace the current ban on foreign travel from May 17.

This is the dramatic moment armed police swooped on a Range Rover driver and arrested him on suspicion of murdering one of Britain s richest men who was stabbed to death in his country mansion - as his wife continues to fight for her life.
Three hours after hotelier Sir Richard Sutton, 83, was killed inside his £2million home in north Dorset on Wednesday night, police performed a hard stop on the 34-year-old man 100 miles away in Chiswick, West London after tracking him across five counties.
Pictures from the scene show the 4x4 had been boxed in by at least four police cars, before the driver - who was known to Sir Richard - was carried away in a stretcher after he was found to have received a number of serious self-inflicted injuries .
