Johnson County’s Board of Health and the Justice Center Joint Powers Board are scheduled to meet Tuesday, in addition to the County Board of Commissioners for a brief meeting that morning.
The agenda for the commission shows they will appoint board members and discuss a boundary line adjustment for a one lot minor subdivision before adjourning for the remainder of the morning.
The commissioners will reconvene at 1 that afternoon for the Board of Health meeting followed by the Joint Powers Board meeting.
The meeting are open to the public and will also be offered via the Go To Meeting platform for computer, tablet of smartphone.

Johnson County and the City of Buffalowill be awarding one-percent funds this spring, and those organizations interested in applying for a share of those funds need to complete their applications and submit them by February 19
th.
One-percent funds come from additional sales tax revenue generated in the county and are typically allocated to outside organizations such as the St. Francis Animal Shelter, Buffalo Trails Board, and the Chamber of Commerce.
Applications need to be submitted to either the County Commissioners’ office or Buffalo City Hall before 5pm on February 19
th.
