Parents of students in private schools across the state had held three protests in Bengaluru in December last year, demanding a cut in fees and government intervention.
MYSURU: Although there is no word yet from the government on resumption of classes for students below grade 5, several private schools in Mysuru district have kicked off the process of admissions especially for Class 1 for the next academic year (2021-22).
The decision comes even while the department of public (DPI) is yet to notify the last working date for the current academic year (2020-21). Panduranga, deputy director of public instruction, revealed the department has not given permission for admissions to begin. “If someone lodges a complaint, we will look into it,” he said.
