International Women s Day 2021: AP Govt Announces Special Holiday For Female Police Personnel Mar 05, 2021, 11:12 IST International Women s Day celebrations to be held on grand note. AMARAVATI: The State Government has decided to celebrate the International Women’s Day on a grand note and has taken key decisions for the safety, welfare and empowerment of women. During the review meeting held at camp office here on Thursday, it is decided that on the eve of International Women’s Day, the State Government will organize a candle rally across the state on March 7 and felicitate two women constables from each wing. The State government also decided to announce a special day off for all women working in the police department marking international women’s day on March 8. The State Government will set up 2000 stands with QR code for easy download of Disha app.

AP Govt School Pre-primary Books Distribution To Start From March 20 Mar 05, 2021, 11:20 IST AMARAVATI: Conducting a review meeting on YSR Pre Primary Schools on THursday, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inspected the books and teaching aids designed for pre-primary children, which were displayed by the officials of Women and Child Welfare department. The Chief Minister also reviewed on the progress of Nadu Nedu works in Anganwadis. Construction of New buildings and revamping of existing buildings is being done in 44,119 Anganwadi centers. There are 55,607 Anganwadi centers in the state of which Nadu Nedu works in 44,119 centers are running under Women and Child welfare department and Nadu Nedu works in remaining schools are under school education department.He said he said the work on Anganwadi buildings should be started simultaneously in urban and rural areas.

CM Reviews Village, Ward Secretariats Dec 23, 2020, 17:27 IST Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the officials to monitor the performance of the employees of Village and Ward secretariats and ensure that the secretariats work efficiently. During a review meeting on Village/ ward secretariats here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said that 1902 Call Centre number must be displayed at every village/ward secretariat and this setup is for the registration of public issues and grievances. This arrangement would be useful to get feedback on the performance of the staff of the Secretariats, he said. The Chief Minister directed the officials to make arrangements as the duties of sub registrars are also to be carried out within the Village Secretariat. He said the engineering assistants in village/ ward secretariats should be given training and tests should be conducted after the training and added that they would complete the probation period only if they qual
