Since Tuesday, the Forest Service said fire crews on scene established fire control lines, patrolling and extinguishing spot fires.
On Friday, six to eight firefighters patrolled the fire, mostly along Fountain Bluff Road and along the north end of the bluff.
Overseen by the U.S. Forest Service, they said incident operations would transfer from a Type 3 to a Type 4 incident commander.
