There s no getting around it: Valentine s Day is lame. It always has been, and we ve always treated it with a healthy amount of cynicism. But this year? A trash truck barreled through a stop sign while coming down a hill in Bechtelsville before dawn Monday, then traveling through a yard and crashing into a wooden shed, injuring the driver, Eastern Berks Regional police said.
The crash happened shortly before 6 a.m. at East Main and Franklin streets. Traffic was diverted off East Main Street for about five hours until a crew from Berks-Mont Towing could remove the truck.
Eastern Berks police said the Whitetail Disposal Inc. truck driven by Shaun Campbell, 35, address unavailable, was eastbound on Franklin, police said. The truck didnât stop at the intersection with East Main and continued across that street into a yard before slamming into the shed, demolishing it, police said.

International law firm Clifford Chance has advised the lenders on the construction, development and financing of 2 LNG vessels to be used for loading, unloading, regasification, storage and transportation services of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the port of Tema, located in the Republic of Ghana.
The project owner, Access LNG BV, is an LNG Infrastructure company backed by Helios Investment Partners (a leading Africa focused investment firm) and Gasfin Development SA (an LNG infrastructure developer). The lender group negotiating the financing was made up of multilateral agencies, development finance institutions and commercial banks, with ABSA Corporate and Investment Bank acting as global facility agent, security agent and account bank.
