The council would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to volunteers who provide valuable support for our residents. This year in Volunteers’ Week (1st – 7th June), we’re spotlighting the amazing vaccination centre volunteers who help to deliver the vaccine programme.
The incredible vaccination programme continues to move at pace to help everybody in Stockport lower their risk of catching COVID-19. From keeping the one-way system flowing, directing patients, ensuring everyone stays safe while at the vaccine centres and, of course, making that all important cup of tea, Stockport’s volunteers have been invaluable.
