SUBANG JAYA: The Selangor government is working on a plan involving Covid-19 screening for communities affected by positive cases linked to schools, in view of the increase in such cases in the state in recent weeks.
“This plan includes identifying the students, the targeted people to be screened and the community radius (how big an area), ” said Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.
“The type of school also matters; it is easier to screen and contain cases for boarding schools (where students live and study on the same premises) compared to daily schools, where students commute between school and home.”
