Incumbents win nearly every seat in Grapevine, Colleyville elections
A runoff on June 5 will determine who will win the Place 1 trustee seat in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD.

Voters in Grapevine and Colleyville overwhelmingly chose to keep previously elected officials in office in Saturday’s municipal and school board elections.
In Colleyville, two city council seats were determined. For the Place 5 seat, incumbent Chuck Kelley defeated challenger Amyn Gilani. Kelley garnered 59% of the vote while Gilani got 41%.
Time to reskill? College offers free courses for adults

Adults who want to reskill and retrain can study free courses at a West Cumbrian college.
Lakes College at Lillyhall is taking part in a Government initiative to boost the COVID recovery plan.
Previously, Level 3 qualifications â the equivalent of an A-Level â were only fully funded up to the age of 23.
Under the Governmentâs National Skills Offer, this has now been extended to those over 24 for a selection of courses.
The Lillyhall college is currently offering eight courses in areas including construction; engineering, painting and decorating, dementia and end of life care, early years and children and young peopleâs workforce.
