Ministry of Health continues to receive support towards COVID-19 vaccination campaign

The Ministry of Health recently received a donation of $90,000 EC dollars from CIBC First Caribbean Bank aimed at enhancing the COVID-19 vaccination campaign in Saint Lucia. Country Head of CIBC First Caribbean International Bank Nigel Ollivierre says his organization remains committed to continue partnering with the Ministry of Health to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We really look forward to you being able to use the $90, 000 EC dollars to continue with the program. You have been doing good works and we want to applaud you with respect to getting the vaccination program out and getting people sensitized, aware and hopefully that can enough some more persons to take the vaccine and to really understand this is really probably one of the main way out of this pandemic both in the wellness of the nation and the recovery of the economy.”

Despite the difficulties in the past year, let us remain focused on what is truly important: health, family and life,” the Ministry said, acknowledging and applauding the public for their cooperation during the last few months of managing the current third and intense wave of COVID-19 in country.
