WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Purdue Sports) Playing its final game at Mackey Arena, the Purdue women s basketball team sent its senior off on a winning note Sunday afternoon with a 70-66 win over Illinois. The Boilermakers held off a furious fourth quarter charge by the Illini to close the home slate with a win.
Brooke Moore and Kayana Traylor paced the Boilermakers (7-14, 4-14) with 33 combined points, split 17 and 16, respectively. Moore was 6-of-13 from the field and totaled three 3-pointers. Traylor was 5-of-11 from the field and dished out a game-high seven assists.
Diagne s free throw propels Purdue past Wisconsin 56-55
Two vastly different shots with the same mounting pressure lifted the Purdue women s basketball team to a 56-55 win over Wisconsin on Thursday afternoon at Mackey Arena.

(Purdue Sports) Two vastly different shots with the same mounting pressure lifted the Purdue women s basketball team to a 56-55 win over Wisconsin on Thursday afternoon at Mackey Arena. Brooke Moore s 3-pointer with 36 second remaining gave Purdue a point advantage, before Fatou Diagne sunk the game-winning free throw with 1.1 seconds remaining.
In a game that featured eight ties and nine lead changes, neither club could create much separation. Following a 6-2 run by Wisconsin (3-9, 0-9) late in the fourth to give the visitors a two-point lead, Moore took advantage of a Diagne screen at the top of the key that gave enough space to drill a go-ahead triple for Purdue (6-6, 3-5) f
The Hoosiers are going into halftime hot as Grace Berger capped the half with a 3-pointer right as time expired to give Indiana a 32-15 lead over Purd .
