Uzbekistan and Qatar sign agreement on air traffic
AKIPRESS.COM - The intergovernmental agreement on air traffic between Uzbekistan and Qatar was signed in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on June 9 as part of official visit of Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Dunyo news agency reported.
Designated air carriers from both sides will operate flights and set the destinations.
Air carriers will be exempt from customs duties, taxes and other fees to bolster development of air traffic between Uzbekistan and Qatar.
Relevant aspects of bilateral and regional cooperation issues were discussed between Uzbekistani Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov and Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.
