Police, along with officers from the council s selective licensing department have been made aware of a number of homes on Whalley Street in Burnley being used illegally as hotels and Airbnbs. On Friday, PCSO Sam Baysal from Daneshouse and Stoneyholme and licensing officer Patricia Dean from Burnley Borough Council, made a number of checks on properties within the area of concern.
