The Bexar County Medical Examiner has identified a man who was killed while sitting in a parked car on an East Side road Friday night.
Chris Cooper, 30, suffered numerous gunshot wounds after multiple men shot at the vehicle. A 43-year-old man in the driver s seat was also injured.
San Antonio police said the two men were parked at the 1900 block of Hays Street around 9 p.m. when a vehicle pulled up beside them. The suspects got out and started firing, then fled from the scene in their vehicle.
One person was killed in an accident on Trenton Road in Clarksville Saturday.
Detective Michael Patterson identified the victim as 44-year old Rashad Thomas and says no criminal charges will be filed in connection with the crash that happened between Hayes Street and Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. ); } return false; }); $( #comments .commentlist .comment-content a ).attr( target , blank );

DETROIT – Police are looking for a teenager who is accused of pointing a gun at a woman while driving in Detroit, then fleeing police and abandoning his vehicle with children inside on Friday night.
Detroit police say at about 11 p.m. on Jan. 15, an officer pulled alongside a woman driving west on Seven Mile Road near Hayes Street at a high rate of speed. The woman reportedly told the officer that a person driving in a Mitsubishi Montero behind her a 17-year-old male had pointed a handgun with a red laser at her.

Virginia State Police is working with the United States Secret Service to close Roosevelt Bridge, the Arlington Memorial Bridge, the I-395 Bridge and the 14th Street Bridge starting Tuesday morning through Thursday at 6 a.m., according to a joint statement from Virginia lawmakers.
The Arlington Memorial Bridge closed Friday night but then reopened, according to news reports. The HOV span of the 14th Street Bridge was set to close Saturday morning until Thursday, according to the Secret Service, but was open as of noon on Saturday.
