First thing this morning, the dow dropped more than 1,000 points. Now were about 300 below since the beginning of the day. This is all as markets here in the u. S. React to global slowings of the economy in different parts of the world. This started with china last week where we saw their economy beginning to slow and a lot of investors in china reacting. Some of them concerned about their own money and trying to either move it or hold onto their money in china. The problem is that a lot of Big Companies like mcdonalds and apple and intel, they all do business in china, so if the Chinese Consumer pulls back and cant buy their products, it really hits their bottom line, and wall street is very worried about that.
