Several drink drivers have been punished over the past few weeks Drink driving is deadly. Every year, thousands of people across the country are killed by someone who gets behind the wheel while under the influence of alcohol. Despite this being common knowledge, many people across Bucks have taken that risk recently, and have paid the price for drink driving in a variety of ways – by paying out fines, suffering driving bans and in some cases, receiving suspended prison sentences. See below for a list of drink drivers who were convicted at Wycombe Magistrates’ court from May 28 to June 21

A skip-full of rubbish - including a shoe, sunglasses and four traffic cones - were hauled out of the River Wye as High Wycombe got a major spring clean at the weekend. More than 50 litter-picking volunteers joined High Wycombe BIDCo and Chiltern Rangers to rid the town of litter and fly-tipping in honour of World Earth Day - and even Wycombe Wanderers mascot Bodger came along to lend a hand. Working in teams, groups were dispatched along the High Street and Frogmoor, as well as down to a section of the Wye by the Wycombe Swan. Their haul of rubbish that was fished out of the River Wye included a supermarket trolley, four traffic cones and 12 bin bags of other waste – from bottles and cans, to crisp packets, sunglasses and even a shoe.

In South Bucks, we are lucky to be surrounded by beautiful green spaces, including parks, where, along with sunbathing, people can have picnics, go for walks, meet family and friends and much more. 3. We certainly think so. There is plenty to see and do, contrary to popular belief. Plus, the schools here are some of the best in the country and we have the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty right at our doorstep. As with anywhere, parts of the town are a bit shaky but overall, it is a nice place to live (in our opinion).

Heathers the Musical is returning to the West End and theatres across the UK and we’re “so very” excited.
The musical is returning to the West End for a 12 week run at Theatre Royal Haymarket between 21 June and 13 September.
Heathers the Musical will also head across the UK for a national tour from 28 July, visiting cities including Leeds, Edinburgh, Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham, with tickets now available here.

Strictly live performances in 2022 A STRICTLY Come Dancing tour will waltz across the UK in 2022 - stopping off at two Buckinghamshire theatres to delight fans. Strictly Presents: The Power of Dance was due to visit venues in June 2021 but due to ongoing theatre closures, the tour has been rescheduled for opening in June 2022 instead. Casting for the dazzling live shows has not yet been announced, but the tour will be directed and choreographed by former Strictly professional dancer Trent Whiddon and his wife and dance partner Gordana Grandosek. The show will give each of the incredible performers the opportunity to share with audiences what it is to be a dancer via stunning choreography and beautiful storytelling.
